As the 4th largest non-theatrical film production company in the world, Gaiam had a specific vision for their world-class space. With superior efficiency, Faurot and the design team were able to accommodate the demand for a three-wall cyclorama — a large, specialized film set where green screen can be used — while also constructing an adjacent two story, all encompassing work-out space and photography studio. This was achieved all within the confines of 10,000 square feet. As a result of this successful endeavor, Faurot has become the preferred company for film studios in Colorado.

Gaiam specializes in video production, catalog sales, photovoltaic systems, and adventure travel.

Phase 1: Faurot Construction was tasked with a design/build of a new corporate headquarters on recently purchased land. The challenge was that the property already had a substantial infrastructure. In order to accommodate Gaiam’s varied operations, we renovated over 75,000 square feet of existing office space in a 15-week timeframe, including design and permitting time.

Phase 2: Faurot and the design team were able to accommodate the demand for a three-wall cyclorama — a large, specialized film set where green screen can be used — while also constructing an adjacent two story, all encompassing work-out space and photography studio.
